It is a small guitar shop that is completely committed to helping the bassist learn to play the guitar. At the same time they are helping to build an audience for the shop by taking classes in the shop and meeting bassist friends. I think the most important thing is there is a scene to be had. Bass players are super powerful characters and it’s quite easy to get these guys to be super angry when they see a bass player who isnt the type of bass player that likes to make a scene.

Bass players have the ability to make music with their hands, not because they are musicians but because they know how to play bass. One of my favorite bass players is a guy who, when he comes home from a gig, takes out his bass and plays bass in his room. This is because he wants to make sure his bass player is happy, and, as the bass player, he can get angry about anything.
