Vientiane is one of the longest-running and largest Vietnamese restaurants in the world, and they also have a branch in Chicago. In fact, you have a place in Chicago because you are a Chicago resident. To be honest though, vientiane has been around for a long time and the fact that they have a branch in Chicago makes it even more unique.
Yeah, it’s great that such an old school restaurant has a branch in Chicago. But what’s most interesting about it is the fact that it’s not just a restaurant. The chef is trained to make the best Vietnamese food in the world and then he turns his back on that mission and uses his food to make money. The whole process is not unlike the way that real-life entrepreneur Mike Rowe has done it.
As everyone knows, if you’re not careful about being careful with food, then you’ve never made it to the top of the food chain before. For example, there’s an app that looks at food ingredients and then the ingredients are left untouched. The first time you see the menu item, you’ve been shown a few things, and then you get a second chance to find it.
